The House of Q website and blog was born out of a need for me to document this crazy life of ours. Living with 3 Quigley boys is always entertaining and as a way to maintain my sanity I decided to blog and share my stories, thoughts and inspirations with my family and friends.
The Q Boys
T-R-O-U-B-L-E!! This here, is the reason this blog exists. They look innocent enough but the only time I have this kind of three-mouths-quiet is when they're all sleeping. This is a dazzling feat I've achieved only a few times since Connor was born.
Dad aka Jeffer
Dad (aka Jeff) is always clowning around. He loves his boys and encourages most of the craziness in the house. He's also my partner in crime when it comes to all things house, and more recently "discipline" decisions. Jeff is all about family as demonstrated by his love for the Mini-van. At present we don't own one but we did have one before we got married and we've been discussing a van purchase recently too! Someone once told me that a man who loves vans in a family man. This thrilled me at the time but my soon to be reality is that I'll be the one driving the van!!
Kai-ser son!
This face (and t-shirt) say it all. Kai is a great kid, he's curious, talkative (where's that from?) and creative. He loves all sports and loves to play with anyone. He has recently taken up saying things in the exactly the same way as me. For example, "how about we...." or "of course" in response to anything asked. He likes to have things his way, is it possible he'll outgrow this? not sure but it makes for some interesting life lessons to be learned in the House of Q.
Connor Q!
This is our lateset edition to the Q family. He arrived July 28th which happened to be our wedding anniversary as well as exactly 2.5 years from the day Kai was born. Connor made his entrance and surprised Jeff and I coming out all Q-boy! We were convinced he was a Q-girl! We are happy he's here and all boy to boot!
Connor is just starting to show us his personality with squeals of delight and belly laughs a plenty! He's occassionally sleeping, "like a baby"... but he loves cuddles at 4am... apparently sleeping from 9pm-4am is good enough for him.

Jill, the Q Mom!
Here's me on a recent family trip to Kelowna, BC. I am working hard as a stay at home mom for the year but am an Occupational Therapist (OT)professionally. I work with children and I love it. In my daily life, my training as an OT is everywhere. As they say, "once a doctor always a doctor" it's the same for OT and I belive, "once and OT, always an OT". I have an OT lens when looking through my life and others'. I see solutions to problems as only an OT would and raising two boys is just another part of my OT journey.
