Connor's been busy. He's swimming 2 times a week and then engaging in a strict burn-your-energy routine at home. This involves the exersaucer and jolly jumper and lots of sitting up on his own. He's really starting to find his legs and he loves the independence. As long as he can see us and he knows what's going on in the House of Q he's good to go. This new activity stage has afforded me some sit down, relax and take a load off time (sense my sarcasm here?)... and a sweet head cold has settled in! Excellent!
Kai has the head cold too... he sneezes every 2 seconds and I've never seen so much snot... and he lets you know too! Yelling, "booooggggeerrrrr, booger booger!" with each sneeze and pointing to his nose. I need a whole box of tissues just to clean up one sneeze! When he sees me paying too much close attention to Connor, Kai will yell out, "booger, booooggggerrrr"! I come running because this is no laughing matter but usually it's a false alarm, or a mild situation. Ahhhh, my little cry wolf!
On another note, Jeff has found a nickname for Connor,... "Chubs". (We're taking donations for future counselling and therapy needs). Connor is very healthy; as many a passerby has noted (Thank you!). At nearly 6months, he's 18lbs and solid as a rock. I even have some tendonitis from carrying him around in the car seat. So the nickname, as you can imagine, was adopted during a diaper change, Jeff took one look at his chubby thighs and bam! The kids scarred for life! Ahh well, it's cute and for now he smiles when Jeff calls him "Chubs". We'll keep working on this one, but I personally think it's better than, "Consie, Wonsie".
