In the last 10 days Jeff has lost his visa for 3 days and his keys for 4 days. Now, this wouldn't be such a problem if just Jeff was losing his stuff but no... Jill loses it too!
This, "I lost my... have you seen it?" charade becomes all consuming in the House of Q. I spent a whole day looking for that damn visa card only to find that he'd left it at the last store he did a purchase at, 2 days prior. However, I wasn't so annoyed because we found it but SUPER annoyed because I suggested we call the store first before ripping the house apart. But Jeff promptly announced, "Nope, we need to exhaust all search options first!" {Read: Jill exhaust all options by searching all my pants, my laundry basket, my work bag and all my coats, oh and the car too!}.
I was through it all like 1000 times, all day long I was searching only for Jeff to get the return call from the store manager at 8pm saying, "Yes Mr. Quigley, we have your visa right here, when would you like to pick it up?".
Aggravating? You bet and totally Jeff. He claims, "I'm not sure what happened! It was just too crazy, I had so many papers in my hands..." or "It's because I'm taking the bus to work one day, driving the next, and biking the next..." to this, I had no response!
So right now we're looking for his keys. Not sure when he last had them unlike the visa which he remembered using to purchase something. The keys are anybody's guess... ... ... no seriously does anybody have a guess?
Today, I did talk with a rather frustrated Jeff (with a capital F), he exclaimed to me, "I'm sick of this? I'm always losing things... ". I won't repeat the next few lines of the conversation, you get the picture.
So, I've decided it's time to take action into my own hands. It will save me days of searching for lost items that aren't mine. He needs a 'man-purse' and that's all there is to it. So never mind the fact that I purchased one from Lululemon yesterday for just such an occasion!
{Picture Christmas morning: "What's that Jeffy? Too girly? Okay I'll keep it!"}.
