We just had a wonderful visit with Poppa this past weekend. Kai was all over
him and I don't think Poppa's ears got a rest but it was great fun. I did have
to draw the line at Kai hammering on the bathroom door while Poppa had a shower
and then I also had to "rescue" Poppa when Kai announced he wanted Poppa to
"change my poopy"- there's still debate if Dad ever changed one of my diapers!!
Poppa survived and although the whole house was up a few times each night, I
think we all fared pretty well.
Here are some great pics of Poppa and the Quigley boys:

Poppa got right into it. Unfortunatey I didn't take a picture of the puzzles. Poppa brought 2 new puzzles for Kai ( one with lions and one with construction). Poppa put these puzzles together 100times. Kai was often no where to be found after demanding they do the puzzle together. Poppa can now complete these two puzzles with his eyes closed and hands tied
behind his back!
behind his back!
This is about what Poppa did when he wasn't completing the puzzles. We also fed him, but most of the time he had one boy on him or spitting up on him! One last photo of Poppa getting to know Connor. He gave lots of smiles and loved being held by Poppa. In just a few short weeks, we'll be back in London and Connor will be ready for more action with everyone. Watch out Uncles, Aunties and cousins- this kid can spit!
So in other news... we are officially potty training. Kai has discovered the
independence that comes with trying to go on the big potty and he's starting to
request it. He's officially into pull-ups ( i think) and we even went several
hours in big boy boxers just like his dad wears but we got distracted and
apologized quickly to mom for "peeing on her couch"- Lol. However, this poses
interesting situations for me when I am alone with both boys- lots of
multi-tasking going on here!

This kid is hilarious! He says to me, "Mom, I don't need diapers anymore" and then promptly pees on the floor! ahhh love it!
It's been an interesting day since Poppa left. We were on the potty like 1000 times, then Connor was up, down and all around today. There was lots of play and Connor is starting to really enjoy, "being in the mix" during play time however, he sustained a nasty scratch mark on his temple which was from a "game" the 3 boys were playing that got rough suddenly. I wasn't
present but I let Jeff handle it. Crazy!
It's 10:23pm right now and I just put Kai back into bed for the 100th time tonight- we started at 8:30pm. I am personally at the end of my rope, the only option is to cut out his nap but with the colds he picks up at day care and the early evening meltdowns that occur when he misses a nap- I am divided. More on this soon.
I hope you enjoyed the pictures- visitors are always welcome in the Quigley house. We have potty training slip ups and frequent spit up incidents that are sure to thrill you once you arrive!
