We’ve been touring the splash parks and pools in Calgary this summer. The boys love it. We pack up a picnic lunch or dinner and head over to the water park. Usually Kai rides his bike and I run frantically behind him trying to keep up. Connor screams the duration of the trip over and I toss a few Baby Mum Mum’s at him… then he squeals in joy at the sight of the water.
Connor is adventurous with the water. He runs through it, gets soaked, cries in shock and goes back for more. Kai watches Connor and realizes he should do it too (Kai is more cautious than Connor). By then end I’ve got two blue Q boys as the glacier water chills them to the bone. It’s a solid hour of activity that I sign up for a few times each week.
There are more pools to plunge into this weekend as it’s the last weekend of the summer. My goal: chill my own bones!
